At First Baptist, we’re all too aware of the pressures on our young people in this brave new world. Although they are pulled in many different directions by many different forces, we’re convinced of one thing: the glory of God is more alluring than anything our society has to offer. So at the heart of our youth ministry is one simple aim: we want our teens to know God. Fun is fine, and we see to it that our teens have plenty of it. But what will keep a kid from the world’s clutches is for that kid to become entranced with the joys and beauties of God himself. Knowing and serving him is a risk-taking behavior we’re happy to encourage! Our youth, grades 7-12, meet on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:30, and on Sunday and Wednesday nights at 7:00.
